Description
This is a fantastic whimsical coaster set featuring the art of author and illustrator Rosalind Welcher, Fisher Studios 1978. The four sides of the canister are the four sides of a lovely old saloon building. There are 12 coasters, all of which have different store fronts displayed. There are a couple small chips in the corner of the roof (lid), pictured. Only two of the coasters appear to have been used (Dry Goods & Carpets, and Cigars & Tobaccos), with some marks left on the wood from use, however the other ten coasters appear unused. Three sides on the canister feature tiny cats, while the front of the saloon has a dog trotting by. This set is a rare find with beautiful art from Rosalind Welcher in 1978! While I would like to send out pretty packages, I tend to instead utilize recycled shipping materials whenever possible in an effort to do my small part for our planet.

I absolutely love this vintage coaster set! The charming 1978 Rosalind Welcher artwork brings so much character with its whimsical saloon and storefront designs. The wooden coasters are sturdy and unique—only two show slight wear, while the rest look untouched. The canister itself is a decorative piece with its old-timey saloon design. A rare find that adds nostalgia and style to any home bar or coffee table. Perfect for collectors or anyone who appreciates retro flair!
