Vintage 1959 Woodpecker Woodware Tray With Ceramic Dip Bowls Dishes Black Japan. This item was obtained from an inherited estate. It is in great used vintage condition. It has a sticker on the back that says “1959 WOODPECKER WOODWARE JAPAN” It does have flaws but only minor. It has a few places where the paint is peeling. It has some nicks around the edges of where the bowls go in, so once the bowls are placed int he tray, they are hidden. Also, there’s a very thin, perfect cut in the board under one handle. I’m not sure what happened there but it doesn’t take away from use. It is perfectly thick and sturdy. Please SEE photos of these flaws mentioned. The bowls have painted art on each side. Some paint has come off and there are some little spots inside the bowls that are discolored. No crazing. These are NOT perfect because they have use and age. They have NO cracks or chips. It is a nice set overall! Zoom all pictures in to get a better look at condition. The handles seem to be brass. They are perfectly intact. Tray measures 16”x11” Bowls have a 4 1/2” opening. They are 5 1/2” total and are approximately 1 1/4” deep
