Smithereens Hand Painted Glass Chip n Dip serving bowl. This is one of those very lovely hard to find vintage pieces. It could have been a store floor model since the Smithereens sticker is still adhered to the interior of the bowl. Beautiful design, great quality. Hand-painted ocean / sea life theme in vibrant colors. The bowl is food s afe as the hand painting is on the exterior and underside of glass bowl. The bowl is approximately 11 1/4" in diameter and 3 1/4" tall. This is a sturdy bowl (it weighs approximately 4.6 pounds so it won't blow away if dining outdoors). This was possibly a store floor model as the original Smithereens sticker is still attached on the interior of bowl. No chips, cracks or repairs, however there are a few minor scratches on the underside. Please review photos as they are part of the description. This has been stored in a non-smoking household. The plates were individually wrapped in bubble-wrap with an additional layer of bubble-wrap in the box. All plates arrived clean and in good condition. The box it came in was a bit banged up, looking like it may have been used before, but the dishes came through fine with no breakage.
