This striking piece has been beautifully hand decorated with a wonderfully bold and dynamic modernist pattern rendered in vibrant red, blue, yellow and purple glazes atop the crisp white body. The head of the fish is finished in a radiant red glaze detailed with a large black eye. Brushed stripes of sun burst yellow trim the body while arcs of blue accented with splashes of purple form the creatures fin. A vibrant red tail perfectly balances the design. This harmoniously balanced yet magnificently exuberant example of vintage Desimone pottery is an absolute delight to behold. It is near impossible to gaze upon this joyful piece and not smile!
