At one time, Treasure Craft was California's largest pottery producer. The company was founded in 1945 by Alfred Levin, and was hugely popular, especially amongst collectors. Some pieces still command very high prices- Unluckly for me, this isn't one of them, particularly since I do not have the matching dip bowl. But lucky for you, it is reasonably priced, and lends itself to being a nice large chip bowl, and can easily adapt to other bowls, and still look very attractive - I've shown a few examples of different bowls from my own kitchen. It's not easy to find a large, deep chip bowl like this, which measures 13" diameter, and 3.50" deep. The bowl is in the Southwest style, was made in 1987 and was named Adobe. The company closed in 1995. Not only do you get a vintage serving bowl, but it just may become more valuable as they become more scarce. Check out some of the prices of other pieces by Treasure Craft. Ps- there is a very slight scratch on the side of the bowl- will enclose close-up picture- it will be the last one.
