This shirt is reminiscent of the acid/tie dye flannel shirts by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent, and styles now made by Amiri. This style came into high fashion first for the Surf Sound SS16 and also the SS17 collection by YSL. I purchased this shirt around the same time, from a rad brand out of California.
