Description
Magnificent rare pair of Wedgwood 2 handle vases in cobalt blue colored jasper dip jasperware. Each measures ~9.5 inches high and mare marked Wedgwood only dating them to 1891 or earlier. They are in excellent antique condition. One of the vases has a restored chip on the bottom--I don't know which one and they both have tiny pinpoint voids of color on the underside of the neck. I have photographed them from all angles so you can see the condition for yourself. This is how they were purchased several years ago. The white reliefs are different on each one. They make a striking presentation and I have not seen these in any Wedgwood books. They are very heavy. Also, they are not lopsided. I have taken the photos on a table with a vinyl cloth with a fold in it so it may appear that one of them is leaning but it is not. I am willing to sell one or both of them. Message me and I can change the auction. *Please Note: If the postage is crazy, I will mail them individually and refund any crazy overage. Anyone who has purchased from me can tell you that I always refund appropriate postage as sometimes the EBay calculator is way off. Winning bidder to pay within 2 days of auction close. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking.
