Cabbage leaf plates will never be anything except iconic. You see them all over social media for spring tables, easter, summer gathering and at any time people are celebrating in good weather. This is wonderful for cut up veggies and dips! It's such a beautiful piece. It matches some of the other pieces I've listed tonight. These cannot really travel together in the same box because they are delicate. This one has some rubbed areas but no actual cracks but there are a couple of places I saw where the finish has been rubbed off. If you ever have to hand wash these, you will wonder how I managed to use these at least 30 times and still not break one LOL And if you're not looking to break the bank, you can set a beautiful table with fresh flowers, plain white dishes and maybe some green napkins and a piece or two of cabbagewear. Your table will still look just as beautiful. And that lets you buy just a piece at a time instead of the pressure of having a whole set. All of us work so hard. When we are home and we invite others into our home, we deserve a place that is beautiful and satisfying. And for me, beautiful dishes really set the tone when I have friends over for dinner. I'm confused as to why seller included a wooden platform from somewhere and sent it in a large oversized box. I guess this is why shipping cost so much. It would have been less expensive to just send it in a small box. I don't need a platform to sit it on. I have several of Craig Yenke's animals and none are sitting on a platform.
