Description
Pictured is a novel-shaped white Bristol glazed salt dip container offered for sale. Due to its large "institutional" size it may have been used by a large restaurant or business preparing large quantities of food. It measures 3" in height, 7 1/2" in diameter, & dates from 1905 - 1930. It's in very good condition with no hairlines or repairs. There is a small flake to the inner rim & two flakes at the base, see Pics. Quite heavy for its size....

This vintage salt dip bowl is a charming and functional piece! The large 7 1/2" size makes it perfect for kitchen use or as a unique decor item. The white Bristol glaze gives it a clean, timeless look, and despite its age, it’s in excellent condition—just minor wear as described. Sturdy and heavy, it feels high-quality and well-made. A great find for collectors or anyone who loves antique kitchenware!
