Description

John Gerletti Hand Blown Art Glass Amethyst Clear Amethyst Unique Design-Rare One of One piece. Made in Studio in Ventura, CA. Art Glass by John Gerletti's Studio 1985 piece, very unique design, could be a vase, or with it's pseudo handle sculpted design it could be a very classy beer glass! Incredibly shaped while hot, goes wide flared top of dark amethyst glass down to almost clear where the sculpted center goes in kind of a "V" shape which results in to tips of the same design and appear as handles of a sort, then flares open again and gets back to darker amethyst to base, signed John Gerletti 85 on rim of base, clearly. Never seen another in out travels. Measures: 6 inches tall, 5.5 inches deep (vase or beer!) 4.5 inches across at top by 4 inch, slightly oval design, 3.5 inch by 2.75 inch base, thick, weighty piece, well done, beautiful, functional, gorgeous rarer piece by JG back in the hay day! Very unusual, unique, beautiful glass art piece by a master dude!

This stunning hand-blown art glass piece by John Gerletti is a true masterpiece! The unique amethyst-to-clear gradient and sculpted "V" shape give it an elegant yet playful vibe—perfect as a vase or a conversation-starting beer glass. The craftsmanship is incredible, and knowing it's a rare 1985 studio piece makes it even more special. A must-have for collectors!
