Description
This authentic Japanese clay pottery figurine depicts a man dipping water and is a beautiful piece of art. The artist, A. Satou, carefully hand-painted the multicolor statue with intricate details that make it a great addition to any collection. The large size and weight of 13 inches and 5 pounds respectively make it a substantial piece that commands attention. The Hakata Urasaki (?) statue is made of clay and was manufactured in Japan during the time period of 1950-1959. It is perfect for all occasions and will add a touch of elegance to any space. The item features a man in motion and is a great representation of Japanese culture. I have wrapped his "hat" and dipper separately in bubble wrap and have wrapped him by section being careful that tape holding the wrap in place does not touch any of the paint. Please unwrap VERY carefully. Also, to clarify this does not have a Hakata Urasaki label but is definitely that style and composition so assuming this is correct.
